Stickup

Stickup is a code-based generative lyrics video I directed and programmed for the track Stickup by Karma Fields & MORTEN featuring Juliette Lewis. The entire lyrics video consists of multiple stages that are programmed and generated using Processing.

Its generative system is partially derived from the one previously used in Build the Cities. The lyrics are parsed, making each layer of the quad-tree structure subdivides itself to a corresponding pattern.
