189D0 Special Edition @ COSMO

Derived from the original 189D0, its special edition consists of 22 different segments. Each segment is re-designed and customized for each one of the LED screens scattered around COSMO in Chengdu, PRC.

While adopting the same circle-rectangle intersection computing within a tree-map structure as the original 189D0, I fine-tune the generative system for each segment, arrange the tree-maps’ spatial layout and motion to better adapt the viewing position and aspect ratio of the segment’s corresponding LED screen.

All segments are created using Processing.
