Labyrinth

Created in Jun.2010

Labyrinth was originally my typographic work, camouflaging text inside of a maze, and later becoming part of a maze. The corners of walls in the maze were manually set according to the boundary of a certain character.

Two years later, I came across with bitcraft‘s 10 PRINT: Image Dithering ( Grayscale ) and was greatly inspired. So I started to manipulate the original typeface as pixelated bitmap, while dividing the entire maze into a grid of squares as well. Bridging the connection between these two dimensional arrays, I created this application.

Type and enjoy. Use “left” key to clear the last character as the backspace conflicts with the browser’s previous page function.
