Roar

Commissioned by Budweiser and UCCA Lab, Roar is an interactive installation in which I collaborate with music producer/technologist 3ASiC.

The installation consists of a curved LED wall, a wireless microphone set and customized software. Audience’s voices are collected in real-time through the microphone and are visualized into a rising stream of tiger stripes. Each voice sequence is also distorted and amplified into a roar that echoes within the exhibition space. The entire project is developed using Processing & Max.

Roar is debuted at UCCA Edge Shanghai as part of Budweiser’s New Year Eve event.
